First Day High

I survived it. I made it. I was sort of dreading for this day to come because of the “first day” fright everybody at school was talking about. But know what? It wasn’t that bad. This day turned okay. But what really made my day was Pastor Dale’s visit with a bag of goodies for me. And when I say goodies..I really mean goodies! Like Mang Tomas (which is weird because I was just craving for that just this afternoon!), Rufina patis (haha!), Silverswan soy sauce (I never like adobo here because they cook with local soy sauce), and the heavensent of all—guisado bagoong!!!!!! My friend and I were just talking about it yesterday! Really the best way to end the day..:)

I’m Back!

FINALLY…..!!! My first ever HP laptop (a product of one wonderful husband and one scheming wife haha) and I am link to the world again, babe! Let’s keep the ball rollin’!

Funny Bones

My college days coincided with a lot of acts of terrorism all over the world. So it wasn’t unusual between me and my friends back then to crack jokes about war and terrorism. And because I had a bunch of crazy friends who loved to pull prank jokes on people (even strangers), I now have a collection of funny memories stored up there in my head. So when I chanced on Achmed in Youtube, funny college memories burst from my head like a dam and went straight out to my mouth in the form of LOLs Not only is Achmed hilarious, he also reminds of my college friends who, being in Achmed’s shoes, would probably say the same thing..
