Funny Bones

My college days coincided with a lot of acts of terrorism all over the world. So it wasn’t unusual between me and my friends back then to crack jokes about war and terrorism. And because I had a bunch of crazy friends who loved to pull prank jokes on people (even strangers), I now have a collection of funny memories stored up there in my head. So when I chanced on Achmed in Youtube, funny college memories burst from my head like a dam and went straight out to my mouth in the form of LOLs :D Not only is Achmed hilarious, he also reminds of my college friends who, being in Achmed’s shoes, would probably say the same thing..

Watch Achmed..The Dead Terrorist

Watch Out For Tomorrow’s Headlines!

After reading a friend’s blog, I thought it might be fun to look for some odd stuff to post..so here’s some from a great blog I just recently found!

And how will he do that??

Too bad Jolie’s face was cut off from this picture..LOL

Come again? :D

My highschool journalism teacher will flunk the guy who wrote this

Obviously

*Read the the print inside the yellow circle*

Yeah, never do that

I wondered if this guy was ever caught!

And who says TV promotes childhood violence??

Politically, grammatically, semantically incorrect!

 Did you ever wonder why??

Withdrawal Syndrome

At last..! After a trip to Smart Wireless Center, several phone calls to their customer service and a lot of begging and nagging…my internet connection is finally restored!

I think I already developed an internet addiction. 3 days of no blogging, emails and chat and I was already having a withdrawal syndrome! You know–nail biting, turning on the computer despite knowing I’ll get a dead connection and nights spent blogging in my mind (kidding! But not quite).

Ohh..it’s so good to be back (cyber)home!

Flopped

I can’t put my finger on it but there’s something really off with Pinoy Idol. Maybe it’s Wyngard Tracy’s trying so hard to be Simon-mean-ish, or Jolina’s underexperience to become one of the show’s judges, or the American Idol’s too much influence on the Pinoy Idols hopefuls.

Or could it be because even before American Idol became a hit, Bagong Kampeon had been on the airwaves, already fulfilling dreams of many singer-wannabes. I guess there’s just too many singing contests in the Philippines, both then and now that Pinoy Idol has already lost much of its pizzazz..

I don’t know. I’m not sure. Although I’m certain it’s always better for me to turn off the TV whenever Pinoy Idol is on. Conserve energy, right..?

Without You

Today’s sing along song: Without You by Christ For The Nation Institute

Without you

The emptiness inside of me

It echoes with all my longings deep

I call up

That I might hear a sound

Your voice, a whisper,

To flood my void with peace

(Repeat)

Hear my desperation, see my brokeness

Reaching out for mercy, gasping for your breath

Chrous:
For you are all I need

Your truth unlocks my chains and makes me free

Your light, your mercy makes me see

That since the cross I never have to be

Without you
